Today I decided to go to the beach. I've been sick all week and busy busy and decided I need to get some sunshine and breath some fresh ocean air. It was a beautiful day and I really enjoyed time with the ocean and myself.
It was a beautiful day :) I was only there for a couple of hours but it was enough for me to take pictures, see dolphins, and feel the cool ocean breeze. I truly am grateful for the blessing of being a California native. It's a part of my life and culture. As I drove down Kanan road to the beach the ocean came into view and I was singing and humming along to "Rhythm of Love" my song of the week, and I was just amazed at the beauty in front of me. I felt bad as I realized I have this incredible view at my fingertips everyday. While some of my good friends are stuck in the frigid -34 degrees of Rexburg, Idaho. So yes, coming home this semester was a good decision. I'm grateful to be a California girl :)
